Job Description

Head of Services (Clinical) Hayward, CA Full-Time | On-Site (5 Days/Week) $115,000 - $120,000 Meaningful clinical work. Small caseload. Strong team. Real growth. We're partnering with a mission-driven, fast-growing nonprofit seeking a licensed clinician to step into a Head of Services (Clinical) role supporting a six-bed residential program for youth with complex trauma histories. This position is open because of organizational growth and expanded services — not simply backfill. The organization is doing important work and investing in strong clinical talent to continue building a high-quality, trauma-informed program. Why This Role Stands OutVery Manageable Caseload You'll work with a caseload of approximately six youth - not 15, 20, or more. That means more time to build trust, provide quality care, and make a meaningful impact. What You'll Do Provide individual, group, and family therapy Conduct clinical assessments and support treatment planning Collaborate with case managers, facility staff, social workers, and external partners Maintain timely, accurate, Medi-Cal compliant documentation Support crisis intervention and stabilization Participate in a multidisciplinary care team Help support youth through treatment, healing, and family reunification efforts What We're Looking ForRequired Active California clinical license ( LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist ) Experience working with youth or adolescents Experience delivering trauma-informed therapy Strong documentation and organizational skills Ability to work on-site full-time in Hayward, CA Preferred Experience with foster youth , residential treatment, or high-acuity populations Familiarity with Medi-Cal documentation Experience with CANS assessments Experience in community mental health, STRTP, or behavioral health settings Nice to Have Experience working with youth impacted by trafficking or exploitation Familiarity with harm reduction or substance use conversations with youth Spanish bilingual Schedule / Work Environment This role is 100% on-site, five days per week in Hayward, CA . This is not a hybrid or remote role . You'll be working directly within the residential program environment, which means being present with the youth, staff, and care team in a way that supports meaningful clinical outcomes.
