This position is exempt from overtime. Placement dependent upon experience.
Annual stipend pay:
Master's $750 or Doctorate $1,250 (Prorated upon hire) Length of Work Year 7.5 hours per day/Monday-Friday/12 months/195 days annually (Prorated upon hire) Employment Type Full Time Benefits Generous benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision for employee and dependents. Sick leave accrued. $50,000 of employer-paid life insurance provided. This position qualifies for CalSTRS retirement. The employee contribution rate for CalSTRS is either 10.25% or 10.205% of monthly earnings depending on the membership date. Job Summary Job Summary Credential Information This position requires a valid, unexpired California Clear Pupil Personnel Services Credential with a specialization in School Psychology. Internship Pupil Personnel Services Credentials in School Psychology do not meet this requirement.Out-of-State Applicants:
Individuals who have completed a post-baccalaureate professional preparation program in School Psychology outside of California may be considered if they can verify eligibility for the California Clear PPS Credential in School Psychology.Applicants must provide documentation demonstrating:
- A bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Completion of a post-baccalaureate professional preparation program in School Psychology consisting of at least 60 semester units, including a practicum and supervised field experience with school-age children.
- Completion of a comparable program approved by the appropriate state agency in the state where the program was completed.
