We specialize in providing comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations and evidence-based clinical care for children, teens, and adults. Our practice is a proud member site of the Southern California Association of Psychology Training Programs (SCAPTP). Under the direction of our clinical leadership—including the current Vice President of the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association (SGVPA) —we provide a highly supportive environment designed to help early-career clinicians transition smoothly from residency to independent licensure. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Postdoctoral Resident / Registered Psychological Associate to join our team. This position is focused on psychological and neuropsychological assessment. Under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist, you will gain rich clinical assessment experience, refine your diagnostic profile writing, and accrue the required Supervised Professional Experience (SPE) hours necessary for licensure with the California Board of Psychology.
Key Responsibilities Comprehensive Assessments:
Conduct initial intake interviews, select and administer tailored psychological and neuropsychological testing batteries, and accurately score protocols.
Report Writing:
Interpret psychometric data and integrate findings into comprehensive, high-quality, and actionable diagnostic reports.
Feedback Sessions:
Participate in and facilitate patient feedback sessions to explain diagnostic results and provide clinical recommendations.
Collaborative Care:
Coordinate with our internal clinical team to ensure holistic patient care.
Supervision & Training:
Actively participate in regular individual supervision, case conceptualization meetings, and diagnostic training.
Clinical Documentation:
Maintain timely, precise documentation of all assessment steps in compliance with ethical, legal, and practice standards.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Ph.D. or Psy.

D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited or board-approved doctoral program.
Registration:
Must be currently registered (or eligible to register immediately upon hire) as a Registered Psychological Associate with the California Board of Psychology.
Assessment Proficiency:
Strong foundational background in psychometric testing and standard test administration (e.g., Wechsler scales, WIAT-4, personality inventories, and executive functioning metrics).
Skills:
Strong technical writing skills, efficient time management for meeting report deadlines, and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset. Benefits & Perks Competitive W-2 hourly compensation for all clinical testing, scoring, and report-writing hours ($35.00/hr during the 90-day trial, moving to $40.00/hr post-trial). The practice fully covers the cost of your initial California Board of Psychology Registered Psychological Associate application and registration fees.
