Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a valuable contract opportunity supporting students and staff as a School Psychologist in a well-established school environment. This part-time role is available due to a district psychologist's maternity leave and centers on completing several outstanding student assessments. Your expertise will be utilized primarily onsite, though there is some openness to a virtual schedule for the right candidate. As a School Psychologist, you'll contribute to a collaborative team dedicated to fostering students' emotional, behavioral, and academic growth.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid California PPS Credential in School Psychology Previous experience with psychoeducational assessments in K-12 school settings Ability to interpret and present evaluation data to multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with special education processes and legal guidelines Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to supporting a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
Carry out comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to address outstanding assessment needs Create detailed, actionable reports for IEP teams and parents Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and service providers to implement support strategies Advise on intervention plans, behavior management, and accommodations Engage with staff and families to foster positive educational outcomes
