Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws What You'll Do Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and security staff Develop and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to inmate needs Perform regular rounds in confinement areas to evaluate inmate mental health and adjustment Provide mental health counseling and crisis interventions Address behavioral escalation and changes in mental health conditions through assessments and consultations Document and track treatment progress following clinical protocols What You Need Valid license/board eligibility in psychology US Citizenship for ICE clearance (expected processing time ~60 days) Minimum relevant mental health experience Strong interpersonal and assessment skills Ability to work effectively in a correctional health environment About the Assignment This role is based at a reputable facility in San Diego, providing vital mental health services to inmate populations.
