A school district in San Marcos, CA is seeking two full-time School Psychologists to provide essential support in educational settings. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to apply your expertise in psychological services within a school environment, working closely with students, staff, and families to promote academic and emotional development.
Positions available:
One School Psychologist for a K-8 school, working 7.5 hours per day One School Psychologist for a middle school, working 7.5 hours per dayResponsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulationsQualifications:
Valid School Psychologist credentials or license Experience working with K-8 and middle school populations Strong assessment and counseling skills Knowledge of educational laws, special education processes, and mental health resources Excellent communication and collaboration abilitiesLocation:
