Position Summary Provides psychological services to patients receiving mental health services. Diagnoses and treats emotional and mental disorders within the scope of licensure. Assesses and provides psychotherapeutic interventions as appropriate. Communicates clinical findings in writing, as well as through Mental Health consultation with organizational staff. Provides documentation in accordance with policies and procedures. Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. Utilizes electronic medical record system (Cerner) as applicable throughout the scope of duties and responsibilities. Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards.
