Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students? A contract opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist to provide dedicated support on a part-time basis—20 hours weekly—with a school community near Sunnyvale, CA. You'll work in a collaborative, student-centered environment where your expertise will directly impact the well-being and development of children and adolescents.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid and current credential/licensure required for school psychologists. Prior experience working with diverse student populations, preferably in school settings. Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, and providing counseling services. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and other professionals. Ability to document findings and casework thoroughly for compliance and collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to support IEP (Individualized Education Program) teams. Work directly with students to offer counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support. Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and intervention plans. Lead or participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and special education processes. Maintain confidential records and comply with all local, state, and federal guidelines.
