Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a real impact in the lives of students by providing vital psychological support and expertise in a welcoming elementary school environment. This contracted role, beginning as soon as possible and running through early June 2026, offers the opportunity to work closely with two elementary campuses, focusing on comprehensive assessments, report writing, and collaborating as a valued member of the IEP team. Your professional insights will directly contribute to shaping educational strategies and student success.
Key Qualifications:
Valid credential as a School Psychologist Previous experience in elementary school settings preferred Expertise in conducting formal psychoeducational assessments and report writing Understanding of the IEP process and ability to participate effectively in related meetings Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality
Role Responsibilities:
Administer and interpret a variety of assessments to evaluate student needs Prepare clear, timely, and comprehensive reports detailing assessment findings and recommendations Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists Consult with teachers and staff to provide strategies for supporting students' academic and emotional well-being Maintain accurate records and comply with policies and deadlines Serve as a resource for school staff on best psychological practices This full-time opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 35 hours per week, creating balance in your work and personal life while you dedicate your skills to supporting young learners.
