Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in education supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral growth. Embrace a contract opportunity as a School Psychologist working in a dynamic educational setting close to Tracy, CA, where your expertise will guide students, collaborate with educators, and foster a positive school environment. What we're seeking: Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Strong understanding of psycho-educational assessments, behavioral interventions, and IEP processes Experience conducting assessments, interpreting data, and writing comprehensive reports Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, and families Knowledge of special education law and best practices for supporting diverse student populations Ability to manage a diverse caseload with organization and empathy Flexibility, reliability, and commitment to student wellbeing Responsibilities you'll take on: Provide direct and indirect psychological services to students, including evaluations and recommendations Perform assessments for academic, developmental, and social-emotional needs Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to design interventions and support plans Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs and 504 plans Offer crisis intervention, behavior management strategies, and consultation for school staff Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and regulatory standards Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives Picture yourself empowering students and making an impact in a supportive educational setting where your skills shine.
