Key qualifications:
Hold a valid School Psychologist license or certification as required by the state Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field Demonstrated experience conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and supporting diverse student needs Strong communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage time effectively and navigate multiple priorities Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development Primary responsibilities: Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs and inform individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement intervention strategies Deliver direct counseling services and support students' social, emotional, and academic development Serve as a resource to teachers and families, offering guidance in classroom management and referral procedures Participate in staffing meetings, IEP meetings, and school-wide initiatives to foster a positive learning environment Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education laws and policies Embrace the chance to empower students and be part of a mission-driven setting where your expertise makes an impact.
