Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist in the vibrant communities near Arvada, CO. This full-time, onsite position runs from August 4, 2026, to May 21, 2027, serving both Emerald Elementary and Pioneer Elementary, where your impact will resonate every day.
What We're Seeking:
Current and valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist license Prior experience providing psychological services in school settings Solid knowledge of evaluation techniques, IEP development, and multidisciplinary collaboration Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive learning environments Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities across campuses Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning Participate actively in special education eligibility determinations and IEP meetings Provide individual and group counseling to support student well-being Consult with educators and guardians to develop interventions supporting academic and behavioral success Collaborate with school teams to promote positive school climates and address crisis situations, as needed Maintain accurate recordkeeping in compliance with state and school policies Enjoy the satisfaction of making a difference while working a consistent 35-hour workweek alongside passionate educators and administrators.
