Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
+ Evidence-based consultation, assessment, and individual/family intervention for patients followed by the Heart Institute. + Consultation with medical team in outpatient cardiology clinic and inpatient cardiac intensive care and progressive care units. + Pre-surgical psychology evaluations and post-surgical follow-up. + Group interventions for patients/families. + Family meetings with care team and medical team care conferences + Developing, enhancing, and contributing to existing clinical and research programs for cardiology populations. + Participating in formal training programs for psychological externs, interns, and post-doctoral fellows. + Maintaining an active commitment to providing care for individuals from diverse backgrounds and following families across the continuity of cardiology care at Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz medical campus and its network of care and outreach sites.Work Location:

D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited program with an APA or APPIC approved internship. + Completion or anticipated completion of a psychology postdoctoral fellowship. + _Applicants must possess a Colorado Psychologist License or be eligible for licensure within the state of Colorado._ + _1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience._ + _Must have prior experience in a pediatric health psychology setting._
