Job Description

This full-time, full school-year contract opportunity is perfect for motivated professionals who thrive in a collaborative, close-knit special education team and are passionate about fostering positive student outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Eligible for or actively pursuing CDE (Colorado Department of Education) licensure; pending credentials considered Previous experience within K-12 schools or similar environments is highly desirable Strong communication, consultation, and assessment skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to build supportive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families Provide direct intervention and counseling services to students, addressing academic, social-emotional, and behavioral concerns Consult with school staff and parents regarding strategies for student support and classroom management Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to an inclusive and nurturing school culture Adapt services to meet the diverse needs of a smaller school community, benefiting from a close, supportive SPED team Building meaningful connections with students and staff in a small district ensures that every contribution counts.
