Pay starting from $69/hr up to $79/hr Choice between W2 or 1099 opportunities No Non Competes in our contracts!
Qualifications:
Must hold a Colorado Special Services Provider (SSP) License or be eligible to obtain SSP licensure immediately. Must have prior school-based experience. Strong assessment and evaluation skills. Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and counseling techniques. Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff. Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to special education and student support services. Empathy, patience, and a commitment to the well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning. Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement strategies to address students' needs and support their learning and well-being. Provide individual and group counseling services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and crisis intervention strategies. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to evaluate students for special education eligibility and contribute to the development of IEPs. Promote a positive and inclusive school climate by implementing programs that focus on bullying prevention and social-emotional learning. Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
