Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a vital role offering support and care to elementary students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity will have you engaging directly with students and staff across two elementary schools. As a School Psychologist, you'll play a key part in ensuring student well-being, collaborating with educators, and implementing programs that foster academic and social-emotional growth.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active and valid CDE School Psychologist License required Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills tailored to school-aged children Ability to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary teams Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students in need Provide direct and indirect support and counseling to students facing academic or personal challenges Consult with teachers and parents regarding interventions, behavioral plans, and individualized educational strategies Participate in IEP/504 plan meetings, offering insights and recommendations based on evaluation findings Develop and implement evidence-based programs to promote positive student behavior and learning environments Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed throughout the school year Enjoy the professional satisfaction of helping students reach their potential in two welcoming school communities, working school-day hours and collaborating with dedicated colleagues.
