Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential support services as a School Psychologist in an elementary school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract role is based onsite at two vibrant local elementary schools, offering you the opportunity to work collaboratively with dedicated educators and students in a supportive environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist license Previous experience working as a School Psychologist within a school environment Ability to manage a full-time caseload across two elementary schools Strong communication and collaboration skills with fellow staff, students, and families Passion for promoting student well-being, academic success, and social-emotional development
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify individual student needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Plans Provide targeted crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support services Participate in problem-solving and intervention team meetings to help address student concerns Serve as a resource for teachers, staff, and families regarding mental health, behavioral challenges, and academic accommodations Maintain accurate records and document interventions, progress, and outcomes in alignment with school and district policies This is a rewarding, full-time opportunity spanning from early August through late May.
