Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact by supporting students' success and well-being in a contract role as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity is based within a smaller, close-knit special education team in a vibrant educational environment near Littleton, CO. You'll collaborate with dedicated professionals to enable students to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
What We're Looking For:
Active or pending CDE (Colorado Department of Education) credential in School Psychology Previous experience working within K-12 school settings preferred Familiarity with assessment tools, IEP development, and counseling techniques Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to maintain accurate records and participate in eligibility and team meetings Commitment to supporting and advocating for students with exceptional needs
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct a range of psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized interventions and evidence-based strategies Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and special education staff to create supportive learning environments Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, providing insights for eligibility and educational planning Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Maintain detailed documentation and assist with compliance and reporting requirements This full-time, full-school-year position offers the experience of working with a dedicated SPED team that values collaboration and student-centered care.
