Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing psychological services to K-12 students in the Colorado Springs region. This full-time position focuses on fostering academic, social, and emotional growth throughout the 2024-2025 school year. As a school psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting student success and collaborating with a dedicated team of educators.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field) Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain) Experience administering psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students Strong skills in report writing, progress monitoring, and data analysis Excellent communication and consultation abilities Proven ability to collaborate successfully with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized tools and interviews Interpret evaluation results and create detailed, actionable reports Participate in MTSS/RTI and IEP team meetings, providing expertise in intervention and eligibility discussions Develop behavioral plans and recommend strategies to promote a positive classroom environment Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address students' academic and behavioral needs Maintain up-to-date records, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory guidelines Utilize a district-provided laptop for assessments, documentation, and remote collaboration as needed This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience across the K-12 spectrum, with robust support from an engaged school district.
