Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-12 students by providing crucial psychological services for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role offers a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to empower students near Colorado Springs. Your expertise as a School Psychologist will directly impact students' academic and emotional growth. You will utilize your skills in testing, comprehensive report writing, and consultation to promote positive learning environments and address the wide-ranging needs of students across all grade levels. With dedicated technology resources provided, including a district-issued laptop, you can focus on making a difference without logistical barriers.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current or eligible Colorado School Psychologist licensure Prior experience in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred Proficiency with psychological and academic assessment tools for children and adolescents Strong report writing, documentation, and communication skills Commitment to collaborative, team-based approaches with students, families, and staff Organizational skills for managing multiple caseloads and deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and develop actionable recommendations Prepare thorough, timely evaluation reports and participate in eligibility meetings Consult with teachers and parents to support student learning plans and interventions Implement best practices in prevention, early intervention, and crisis response Support students' social-emotional wellbeing through individual and group services Maintain adherence to ethical and legal standards in school psychological practice Embrace a vibrant professional challenge and support young learners throughout their educational journeys.
