Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An educational institution in Berlin, CT is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support students' academic, social, and emotional development. This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise within a collaborative school environment dedicated to fostering student success.
Qualified candidates should possess:
A valid School Psychologist certification/license Experience conducting psychological assessments and interventions in school settings Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioral strategies Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and report-writing skills Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations related to special education Responsibilities include: Performing psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs Developing and implementing individualized support plans Consulting with teachers and staff to address behavioral and learning challenges Providing counseling and crisis intervention services Participating in eligibility and IEP meetings Monitoring progress and documenting outcomes This contract role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to student outcomes while working in a well-resourced and supportive environment.
