Full-Time 40 hours per week
Summary:
A s part of a multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Psychologist will provide direct care, including individual (including youth), couple, family, and group therapeutic services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, discharge planning, and psychological testing/evaluations.
Responsibilities:
Participates in direct care to assess needs and coordinate services to the appropriate population (children, adolescents, adults, and families) Provides initial mental health assessments resulting in measurement-based care planning Provides brief, solution-focused therapy Provide group psychoeducation/treatment related to specific diagnoses/presenting issues Provide psychological/neuropsychological testing to patients referred Participate in care coordination Maintains daily/weekly scheduled appointments in electronic records systems Provide therapeutic services to patients and their families Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, including external partners and agencies Completes required documentation and paperwork including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner Participate in our high-risk program Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment to patients ,including LGBTQ+ community Participate in supervising psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.

D) Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut Ability to diagnose using DSM 5 Experience providing direct clinical care
Preferred Qualifications:
Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience Experience supervising trainees/students Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc. Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
