Job Description:
Headway, a pioneering organization in mental health services, is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our innovative team. Our mission is to connect patients with mental health professionals in a manner that is both seamless and efficient, breaking down barriers to access. By facilitating therapy through insurance coverage, we make mental health care readily obtainable for everyone. In this role, you will play a critical part in transforming lives through dedicated psychological care. Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to meet the individual needs of patients. Provide psychotherapy using various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and others appropriate to the clients' needs. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to discuss treatment plans and progress. Participate in case management, supervision, and continuing education activities. Maintain up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans. Contribute to the broader objectives of Headway in enhancing access to mental health services through innovative practices and community outreach. Expertise in psychological testing and evaluation. Strong interpersonal skills including empathy, patience, and the ability to cultivate trust with patients. Proficient in various treatment modalities and techniques. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Strong analytical and research skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current valid license as a Clinical Psychologist. Completion of an APA-approved Clinical Psychology program. Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) is highly advantageous but not required.
