Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student success within a school setting in Norwalk, CT. This contract position calls for a dedicated professional committed to fostering the academic, social, and emotional well-being of children and adolescents through assessment, consultation, and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create supportive learning environments Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral strategies and interventions Deliver professional development and training to school personnel on topics related to student mental health and learningDesired Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working within educational settings, preferably with diverse populations Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families, and school teams Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain accurate documentationLocation:
