Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a full-time School Psychologist to support a school district through the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers a balanced mix of direct site support and evaluation work, contributing to the well-being and development of students in Ridgefield, CT.
Schedule & Location:
Full-time position
Hours:
8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Commitment through June 22, 2026 Located in Ridgefield, CT Caseload split: 3 days per week on-site with students, 2 days per week dedicated to evaluations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate interventions and support plans Provide direct support and counseling to students within the school setting Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
Desired Qualifications:
Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting diverse psychological assessments in educational settings Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff Ability to manage caseload efficiently between direct site support and evaluation duties Commitment to supporting student success and well-being This role offers a rewarding chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school environment.
