Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Stratford, CT, dedicated to supporting students and staff in an educational setting. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, focusing on early intervention services from ASAP through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families. Provide early intervention strategies to support student development and learning. Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to address student needs. Monitor and document student progress throughout the intervention period. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and educational planning sessions.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist. Proven experience in providing early intervention services within a school setting. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational policies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
