Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working onsite as a bilingual (Spanish) school psychologist in a supportive educational community near Trumbull, CT. This contract position runs from late August 2026 through late May 2027 and offers the chance to make a lasting difference in students' lives. In this role, you'll collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to help students thrive. The ability to work comfortably with diverse grade levels and caseloads is essential, as you may be called upon to support learners across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
Key Qualifications:
Active Connecticut Educator Certification (School Psychologist) Bilingual in Spanish (spoken and written) Previous experience as a school psychologist preferred Able to adapt to varying caseloads and grade levels Skilled in assessment, counseling, and consultation
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct support and interventions for students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Serve as a resource for faculty, staff, and families regarding students' progress and needs Assist in crisis intervention and prevention programming Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines This position offers 30-32.5 hours per week onsite, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with students and colleagues. Your bilingual expertise will be highly valued as you help bridge communication and enhance support for Spanish-speaking students and families.
