Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A full-time School Psychologist is needed on a contract basis for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year in Westport, CT. This role offers the opportunity to support student achievement and well-being within a dynamic school environment, working closely with educators, families, and administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting psychological evaluations to support special education eligibility and student services. Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop and implement intervention strategies. Providing direct counseling and support to students. Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences. Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation of assessments and interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification/license. Experience conducting psychological assessments and evaluations in a school setting. Strong understanding of special education laws and processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a caseload and balance on-site and evaluation duties effectively.
Work Schedule and Location:
Full-time contract position from ASAP through June 22, 2026.
Work hours:
8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Caseload structure:
3 days per week on-site providing services, 2 days per week dedicated to evaluations.
Location:
Westport, Connecticut. This contract role provides a meaningful way to make an impact in a supportive school community while gaining valuable experience.
