Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in grades 8-12 during the 2026-2027 school year in the Wilmington, DE area. This full-time position is ideal for a dedicated professional skilled in counseling, psychological evaluations, and the review of 60-day Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). You'll make a meaningful difference by providing direct support to students, collaborating effectively with educational staff, and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. Your expertise will be key in facilitating the academic and emotional success of students.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Delaware School Psychologist certification is required Demonstrated experience within a school setting, including participation in IEP meetings Background in writing comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations Strong skills in student counseling and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Comfortable supporting grades 8-12
Responsibilities:
Conduct counseling sessions tailored to adolescents' developmental needs Prepare and present psychoeducational evaluations Review and contribute to 60-day IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers and administrators Develop intervention strategies, provide recommendations, and support student placement decisions Serve as a resource for faculty, families, and staff regarding mental health and educational programming
