Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work on-site with preschool, elementary, and high school students, ensuring their academic and emotional well-being through targeted assessments and collaborative interventions.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Delaware School Psychologist license (required) Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations, spanning preschool through high school Demonstrated skill in performing psychoeducational evaluations and preparing comprehensive reports Active participation in IEP meetings and the development of student support plans Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle a varied caseload across multiple school sites Reliable transportation to travel between school locations as needed Willingness and ability to complete required fingerprinting upon hire
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs in academic, behavioral, and emotional areas Produce clear, actionable evaluation reports for educators and families Collaborate as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing psychological expertise during IEP meetings Consult with teachers, administrators, and support staff to design and implement effective interventions Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as appropriate Adapt strategies and services to support students from early childhood through adolescence This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and a professional environment focused on student success.
