Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing essential psychological services within a vibrant school community. This contract opportunity runs through June 2026 and involves working on-site with an Early Years Program. You'll play a crucial role in supporting students from preschool through high school, partnering with educators and families to enhance learning and emotional development.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Delaware School Psychologist license is required Prior school-based psychology experience highly preferred Demonstrated skill conducting psychoeducational evaluations across varied age groups Comfortable collaborating in multidisciplinary IEP meetings Strong report writing and assessment abilities Reliable transportation for travel between multiple school sites as needed Ability to complete required fingerprinting promptly upon onboarding
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct formal evaluations and assessments for students in early childhood, elementary, and high school settings Prepare thorough and insightful reports to inform student support strategies Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to develop effective learning plans Collaborate with school staff and parents to support positive academic and behavioral outcomes Manage a diverse caseload across multiple sites, including preschool and elementary populations The position is full time (37.5 hours per week) and requires a daily on-site presence. Pay for this role is set at $99 per hour, reflecting the value of your expertise.
