This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with young patients and their families, providing critical insights into cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric neuropsychology, with experience in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and intervention planning. Your expertise will help inform treatment strategies and support developmental progress for children facing various neurological or psychological challenges. Duties Conduct detailed neuropsychological assessments tailored to children's developmental stages and individual needs Administer, score, and interpret a variety of standardized tests measuring cognitive, motor, language, and social-emotional skills Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians, therapists, and educators to develop comprehensive care plans Document findings accurately in medical records following HIPAA regulations and ensure clear communication with families about assessment results Provide recommendations for interventions, therapies, or further evaluations based on assessment outcomes Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy relevant to neuropsychology, and current research developments in pediatrics and developmental disabilities Support families through intake processes and ongoing patient care coordination Skills Extensive knowledge of child development, neuroanatomy, and neuropsychological testing procedures Experience working with children with developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other neurological conditions Strong background in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, and trauma-informed care including PTSD management Familiarity with hospital environments and clinical research protocols related to pediatric neuropsychology Ability to handle sensitive patient information securely in compliance with HIPAA standards Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication tailored to children and families Proficiency in medical documentation, records management, and understanding of medical terminology related to neurocritical care and pediatrics Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing vital evaluations that shape effective treatment pathways for children.
