Job Description
EXPANDING MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
throughout FLORIDA We are seeking a full-time Inpatient Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lake Correctional Institution located in Clermont, Florida, just west of Orlando. This is a large male correctional institution providing inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. The Psychologist provides psychological leadership, consultation and direct services for patients in an assigned facility. The Psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients. Lake Correctional Institution hosts an APA-accredited Pre-Doctoral Internship and Post-Doctoral Residency program. As an inpatient psychologist, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical supervision to both interns and residents assigned to the inpatient mental health rotation. In addition, the psychologist may participate in didactic training seminars and weekly group supervision, contributing to the development of future psychologists within a structured training program. Must hold PsyD or PhD from a US APA accredited university program Must have successfully completed post-doc requirements Licensed in Florida as a fully licensed Clinical Psychologist Current BLS/CPR certification Must be able to pass credentialing and background check Prior locked unit and or inpatient experience is highly desired Work legally in the United States without sponsorship Available Shift Monday-Friday Day Shift No nights, holidays, weekends We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Company paid malpractice insurance Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Advantages of Working in Correctional Healthcare Ability to spend time with your patients.
