Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract opportunity for skilled School Psychologists seeking an engaging full-time role on Florida's scenic southeast coast. This in-person position runs from August 5, 2026, through June 1, 2027, serving a diverse PK-8 student population across three campuses. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping positive student outcomes through collaboration, assessment, and intervention.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Florida Psychologist License (Department of Health) Experience working within school settings, ideally across multiple age groups (Pre-K through 8th grade) Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations, manage caseloads, and deliver effective individual and group counseling Proficient in participating in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborating closely with faculty, families, and outside agencies Efficient documenter, able to maintain timely records in accordance with district policies and best practices Meets time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including fingerprint submission (may accept prints on record from DOH)
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide psychological services for three district schools, focusing on both prevention and intervention Complete psychoeducational assessments, develop individualized recommendations, and contribute to eligibility determinations Lead and participate in meetings addressing student mental health, learning challenges, and crisis interventions Deliver direct counseling to students and facilitate small group sessions as appropriate Collaborate with educators and administrators to create supportive, inclusive learning environments Maintain accurate and confidential student records Enjoy a supportive district known for swift interviews and hiring decisions.
