Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of students as a school psychologist on Florida's Southeast Coast. This full-time, on-site position places you in a supportive district environment where you'll work across three campuses, including pre-K through 8th grade, and engage with a diverse age range. Your expertise will be essential in providing psychological services, conducting assessments, facilitating counseling sessions, and participating in key student meetings.
Key Qualifications:
Must hold active Florida School Psychologist licensure through the Department of Health Previous experience in school psychology or related setting strongly preferred Capable of serving students ranging from pre-K to 8th grade Comfortable traveling between three assigned school sites Quick adaptability to new environments and strong collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and testing as needed Participate in multidisciplinary meetings regarding student progress and IEP development Deliver individual and group counseling focused on academic, social, and behavioral needs Collaborate with educators, families, and community supports to foster student success Maintain documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention strategies
