Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a significant impact by supporting educators and students across several schools in the Middleburg, FL region. This contract opportunity is ideal for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) passionate about behavioral support in school settings. In this full-time position, you'll provide expert consultation to PreK self-contained programs, assisting teachers and teams with developing effective strategies and enhancing student outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active BCBA certification required Prior experience working in school settings, particularly with early childhood or PreK populations, strongly preferred Demonstrated expertise in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Skilled in data collection, behavioral observation, and modeling intervention strategies for staff Must complete Florida school district fingerprinting requirements; familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse processes is a plus Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Serve an itinerant caseload—supporting approximately 5-7 schools within the region (specific schools to be confirmed) Collaborate closely with teachers and staff in self-contained PreK programs rather than engaging in direct student services Provide on-site consultation, conduct observations, assist with data-driven intervention planning, and model behavioral strategies Develop and guide implementation of FBAs, recommending evidence-based supports Offer hands-on assistance to school teams in creating supportive learning environments and enhancing student engagement This is a full-time contract role structured at 35 hours per week (Monday through Friday), with the assignment running from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027. The position is strictly on-site and not available for virtual work.
