Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role supporting students' well-being as a school psychologist for a full-time contract position in Southeast Florida. This engaging opportunity begins August 5, 2026, and continues through June 1, 2027. As an on-site presence across three campuses, you'll be a key resource for students ranging from Pre-K to grade 8, providing vital psychological services that nurture academic and emotional growth.
Key Qualifications:
Must hold an active Florida Psychologist license through the Department of Health Previous experience in school psychology and familiarity with Pre-K/elementary/middle school populations preferred Ability to complete all district onboarding requirements, including fingerprint clearance (with the potential to utilize existing DOH prints) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong competency in conducting assessments, leading meetings, and delivering counseling interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload spanning three campuses, focusing on students from early childhood through middle school Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on mental health and academic support Perform psychological evaluations and assessments Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary meetings as an expert voice for psychological needs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop strategies that promote positive outcomes Document services, evaluations, and communication in alignment with district and professional guidelines This is an on-site only position, ensuring you make personal connections with students and staff.
