Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in school psychology to make a positive difference in the lives of students along the Southeast Florida Coast. This contract opportunity runs from August 5, 2026, through June 1, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week across three campuses, engaging with a diverse pre-K through 8th grade population. Responsibilities include facilitating meetings, conducting testing and assessments, and providing individual and group counseling. Collaboration and adaptability will be essential as you work alongside dedicated educators and administrators to support students' academic and emotional development. The district is highly responsive, and interviews are extended quickly to qualified candidates.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Active Florida School Psychologist licensure through the Department of Health Experience supporting students in pre-K through 8th grade Familiarity with conducting assessments, participating in eligibility and IEP meetings, and providing counseling services Commitment to ethical practices and student confidentiality Prior experience working across multiple campuses is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychological assessments to inform student support plans Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Deliver individual and group support services addressing a variety of student needs Collaborate with staff, parents, and community stakeholders to promote student success Maintain timely records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements On-site presence is required, allowing you to engage fully with students, staff, and families in a dynamic educational setting. Time-sensitive credentialing steps are necessary, including fingerprinting (which may be expedited through DOH).
