Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year, supporting K-12 students as a school psychologist in the Sebring, FL area. This full-time, onsite position invites professionals with a passion for student advocacy and mental health to make a true impact within a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred Strong communication, assessment, and consultation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult with educators and parents to develop effective instructional and behavioral strategies Provide individual and group counseling to support student learning and well-being Participate in intervention planning, crisis response, and district-wide initiatives for student success Assist in the creation of positive school climates and safe learning environments
