About Us Modern Psychology is a client-centered mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and families. Position Overview We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, motivated professional who is committed to helping clients improve their emotional well-being and achieve their personal goals while continuing to grow clinically under supervision. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, couples, and/or family counseling to clients Conduct mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards Collaborate with supervisors, clinicians, and community resources as needed Participate in case consultations and staff meetings Uphold the highest ethical standards of practice and confidentiality Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field Active Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) license in the state of Florida Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus Motivated to build and maintain a caseload What We Offer Competitive compensation Flexible scheduling Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and mentorship Administrative and billing support
