In this role, you will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals applying for disability benefits, focusing solely on evaluation services. Your expertise will help ensure accurate, thorough, and timely assessments that support fair and consistent decision-making processes. Review medical records, social histories, and other relevant documentation to inform comprehensive evaluations. Prepare clear, concise reports summarizing findings, diagnoses, and recommendations aligned with regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare providers, case managers, and legal professionals as needed to ensure accurate assessment processes. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards when handling sensitive patient information. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices in psychological testing, disability evaluation procedures, and telehealth modalities. Ability to document thoroughly using medical records systems while complying with HIPAA regulations. Strong interpersonal skills for engaging clients during individual or group therapy sessions across various settings such as hospitals or community clinics.
