In this role, you will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals applying for disability benefits, focusing solely on evaluation services. Your expertise will help ensure accurate, thorough, and timely assessments that support fair and consistent decision-making processes. This position offers an engaging opportunity to apply your clinical skills in a specialized setting, making a meaningful impact on clients' lives while working within a collaborative and supportive environment. All work is paid, including internship roles, emphasizing our commitment to professional development and quality service. Conduct detailed psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments for disability claims, including mental health and behavioral health evaluations. Administer and interpret psychological testing tools such as cognitive assessments, personality inventories, and behavioral measures. Review medical records, social histories, and other relevant documentation to inform comprehensive evaluations. Prepare clear, concise reports summarizing findings, diagnoses, and recommendations aligned with regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare providers, case managers, and legal professionals as needed to ensure accurate assessment processes. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards when handling sensitive patient information. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices in psychological testing, disability evaluation procedures, and telehealth modalities. Ability to document thoroughly using medical records systems while complying with HIPAA regulations. Strong interpersonal skills for engaging clients during individual or group therapy sessions across various settings such as hospitals or community clinics.
