Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students by providing expert psychological support and assessment services. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity, running from August 2026 to May 2027, serves a vibrant school community near Zolfo Springs, Florida. This position will allow you to work closely with students, families, and educators to foster positive educational outcomes and emotional well-being throughout the academic year.
Desired Background:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Prior experience working with K-12 student populations preferred Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Flexibility, reliability, and a commitment to ethical practice
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for individual students Develop and support implementation of intervention strategies and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Consult with multidisciplinary teams to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) processes and other data-driven initiatives Advocate for student success and inclusivity throughout the school environment
