Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students and educational staff as a school psychologist in a dynamic contract opportunity near Alpharetta, GA. As a highly valued member of the school team, you'll use your expertise to promote student success, build positive relationships, and help shape effective learning environments.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification and credentials as a School Psychologist Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Skilled in performing assessments, developing intervention plans, and conducting consultations In-depth knowledge of federal and state special education regulations Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, parents, and school personnel Experience creating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and participating in eligibility meetings Adaptable and empathetic demeanors suited for school environments
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Support the development and implementation of IEPs and behavioral intervention strategies Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to encourage student growth and wellbeing Facilitate crisis response and prevention within the school community Serve as an advocate for students' academic, emotional, and social needs Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with policy standards Provide direct and indirect counseling and support services
