Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Americus, GA, serving two school sites including middle and high school caseloads. This contract role spans from August 3, 2026, through June 2, 2027, offering a dynamic work environment focused on supporting diverse student populations through comprehensive psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs. Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Manage documentation and maintain accurate records of student progress. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop tailored interventions. Provide ongoing consultation and support to assist students' academic and emotional development.
Qualifications:
Valid Georgia School Psychologist Certification is required. Experience working with middle and high school students preferred. Strong knowledge of assessment tools and educational regulations. Ability to work efficiently across multiple school sites. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
