Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities await for skilled and compassionate School Psychologists interested in making a difference in K-12 education. This contract role is ideal for individuals ready to support students across multiple schools in an itinerant capacity, focusing on critical re-evaluations and psychological services for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid PSYCH credentials Experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings, preferably across K-12 Strong knowledge of student evaluation and re-evaluation processes Ability to adapt and provide services at different schools within a designated area Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families Responsive, resourceful, and organized work style Dedication to student well-being and educational success
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological re-evaluations for students in grades K-12 Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to determine student needs and appropriate interventions Provide onsite psychological support—traveling between schools as needed in an itinerant assignment Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and consultations as required Document assessments and recommendations thoroughly, ensuring compliance with school and legal standards Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions with students and staff This contract position is full-time (40 hours per week) from August 6th, 2026, through May 26th, 2027, with all services provided onsite.
