Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Cairo, GA, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role runs from July 15, 2025, through May 22, 2026, with a weekly schedule of approximately 32.5 to 35 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students. Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional development. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to design individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor student progress and provide counseling or referrals as needed. Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
Certification as a School Psychologist. Experience working with K-12 students (newly certified candidates welcome). Strong understanding of psychological assessments and intervention techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively within a school setting.
