Key Qualifications:
Current Georgia Educator Certification in School Psychology is required. Previous experience as a school psychologist, working directly with students in educational settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families. Comfort with maintaining daily documentation logs electronically and meeting compliance standards. Ability to work onsite throughout the contract term (virtual positions are not available for this role).
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect psychological support to students, including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral plans. Conduct evaluations and interpret results to inform instruction and intervention strategies. Serve as a resource to staff and families, promoting mental wellness and inclusive practices. Maintain accurate service records and daily logs in accordance with district procedures. This is a full-time position (minimum of 37.5 hours per week), though consideration may be given to candidates interested in part-time schedules.
