Key qualifications and experience:
Current and valid Georgia Educator Certificate in School Psychology is required Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting preferred Comfortable working in-person; remote (VOCO) candidates will not be considered Strong recordkeeping skills, including completion of daily service documentation logs Flexibility to discuss student age group preferences and experience during the interview to determine ideal placement Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations in accordance with school and state guidelines Facilitate and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services for students as needed Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive strategies and solutions Maintain thorough documentation and accurate records of services provided each day Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in school psychology This position offers a contract for the 2026-2027 school year, with flexibility in scheduling considered based on candidate availability and needs.
