Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide onsite services in a dynamic school district located in Columbus, GA. This full-time contract role spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering an opportunity to work directly with students and educators from August 3rd, 2026, through May 21st, 2027, with potential additional planning days before and after the school year.
Location:
Columbus, Georgia Contract Duration:
August 3rd, 2026 - May 21st, 2027 (possible pre/post planning days)
Schedule:
Full-time, minimum 37.5 hours per week (part-time hours considered based on candidate availability)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychological services including assessment, consultation, and intervention for assigned student caseload Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective strategies and support plans Maintain accurate daily logs of services provided to ensure compliance and track progress Participate in interview discussions to determine optimal age group placement based on experience and preferences
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Georgia Educator Certificate in Psychology required Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students and staff Flexibility to adapt to case assignment based on district needs Willingness to complete detailed daily documentation of services provided
