Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Travel An onsite school psychologist position is available in Columbus, GA, serving a local school district for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct psychological services within a dynamic educational environment from August through May, with potential for some pre- and post-planning days.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions for students. Collaborate closely with educators and families to support student development. Maintain daily documentation of services through detailed logs. Participate in discussions with district representatives to determine appropriate age group placement based on experience and preferences. Support school staff in promoting positive educational outcomes.Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Active Georgia Educator Certificate in Psychology is mandatory. Experience working in school settings preferred. Ability to manage workload efficiently and maintain accurate records of services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students, staff, and families. Flexibility to work full-time (minimum 37.5 hours per week); part-time may be considered based on availability.Location and Work Environment:
Position is based onsite in Columbus, GA. Engage directly with students and school personnel in an enriching educational atmosphere. Travel requirements are limited to the assigned school district location.Benefits:
